Lauren R. Ramasocky

Lauren R. Ramasocky, age 56, of Oregon, OH, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Campus. She was born in Toledo, OH on May 7, 1966 to Kenneth Jr. and Marlene (Szymanski) Smith.

Lauren was a gifted guitarist, owning several guitars. She loved karaoke, especially Cyndi Lauper songs; most of all, she dearly loved her dog, Rex. Lauren married the love of her life, Jeffrey, and together they were married for 31 years. One of Lauren’s greatest accomplishments was restoring a 1953 Dodge truck back to its original condition with her husband, which she found, purchased, and restored in the course of a few years.

Lauren leaves behind her loving husband, Jeffrey Ramasocky; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Jerry and Mary Lou Ramasocky; her siblings, Ken, Jeff, and Lynette; her brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law; her aunts and uncles; her nieces and nephews and extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth Jr. and Marlene Smith.

A memorial service will be held at a later time and Lauren will be laid to rest at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Freck Funeral Chapel, Oregon, OH.
