Barbara F. Jackson

Barbara F. Jackson, age 92, of Oregon, Ohio went to be with Jesus on Friday, August 18, 2023 at Ebeid Hospice Center.  She was born on April 16, 1931 in Rush, Kentucky to Willard and Elizabeth O’Neal.  Barbara worked as a salesclerk for many years at Sears Department Store-Westgate.  Barbara was a member of Hope Community Church, where she was involved with the Christian Woman’s Club and served as the Children’s Director of the youth groups.  She enjoyed wintering in Winter Haven, Florida and playing shuffleboard.

Barbara is survived by her loving children, Yvonne (John) Roecker of Northwood, OH., Deborah (John) Shultz of Oregon, OH, Robin (Robert) Lambright of Mears, MI and Dr. Kyle (Debra) Jackson of Centerville, OH; grandchildren, Todd, Tiffany, Jennifer, Brad, Beth, Brooke, Brandy, Corie, Larry, Joshua, Benjamin, Brittany and Jordan; step-grandchildren, Sean, Heather, Jonathan, Holly, Andrea, Cyrena, Leon, Kassandra, and Korrina; and many-many great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, and nephews.  Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 70 years, Rob, grandson, Robby Shimman, and her siblings.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, August 26, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. with the funeral service held at 12:00 p.m.  Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hope Community Church or Foundation Stone Christian Church.
