Annabelle May Older

Annabelle “Annie” Older left us way to soon at the age of 11 on Friday, February 17, 2023.  She was born on April 26, 2011 in Toledo, Ohio to Sarah Zernechel and Christopher Older.  Annie was a loving, free-spirited child with a heart of gold.  She loved her family, friends, and her teachers.  There wasn’t an angry bone in her body.  Annie was a sixth grader at Greenwood Elementary, where she enjoyed playing softball and basketball.  She loved the arts, especially music and dancing.  Annie also enjoyed playing board games, and roblox with her friends.  Her favorite movie was Lilo and Stitch.  She will be deeply missed.

Annie is survived by her loving family, her parents, Sarah and Christopher; siblings, Gage and Mavis; grandparents, Ted and Gayle Zernechel; aunts and uncles, Michelle (Jason) North, Josh (Sarah) Zernechel, Zach (Krista) Zernechel, and Amanda (Kelly) Zernechel as well as many other aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandma, Karen Rooks, and aunt, Tiffany Urban.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, February 24, 2023 from 2-8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery.  Memorial contributions for the family can be made at www.gofundme.com/f/annabelle-older-recovery-fund.
