Yvonne I. Shinavar

Yvonne I. Shinavar age 85 of Toledo, passed away Wednesday January 17, 2024 at home. Yvonne was 1 of 14 children born to Charles and Mabel (Lemenyo) Doty in the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and she later moved to Toledo, Ohio. She was one of a kind and a very good person. Yvonne loved to dance and go fishing. She loved Christmas especially her Old Fashioned Santa Claus’ and the color PINK. She really embraced her favorite color even painting her door pink at home.

Yvonne is survived by her children Larry (Judy) Shinavar, Kenneth (Linda) Shinavar, Jeffery (Kim) Shinavar, and Annette (Scott) Sawyer; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sisters Eleanor, Sherb, and Bonnie. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arthur Shinavar Sr., son Arthur Shinavar Jr., and many brothers and sisters.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday January 24, 2024, at Freck Funeral Chapel from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Willow Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the family.
