Yvonne "Bonnie" Schroeder

Bonnie Schroeder, age 98, of Oregon, Ohio went home to be with the Lord and her family and friends on Saturday, November 23, 2024. She was born on June 29, 1926 in Matherville, Illinois to John and Josephine (Burich) Kovachevich. Bonnie married her husband, Leroy on April 15, 1960. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great-grandmother. Bonnie loved to square dance with her husband, mainly at the Bedford Senior Center. She also enjoyed bowling, going to bingo, doing puzzles, and playing cards. Bonnie delighted in cooking and baking, especially “Grandma Noodles”. Her greatest love was being mom and grandma. She was always there for everyone. Her greatest enjoyment was holding babies.

Bonnie is survived by her children, Richard “Denny” Owens, Steve Owens, Deb (Brian) Shireman and Jamie (Andy) Szegedi; grandchildren, Joey, Heather, Erin, Kathy, Vince, Jordan, Dylan, Macie, and Brilee; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Piper, and Sam; and great great-granddaughter, Riley. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leroy; stepdaughter, Roianne Schroeder; stepsons, Michael Schroeder, and Joe Schroeder; brothers, Frank, Victor, Leonard, and John; and sisters, Frances, Violet, and Anne.
