William B. Selleck, 74, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014. He was born on July 23, 1939 in Toledo, OH to Forest and Lucinda (Chadwick) Selleck and served our country in the U.S. Air Force being honorably discharged in 1960. Bill worked for GM then C & O Railroad prior to working as a Fire Technician at D. R. Ebel Police & Fire Equipment until his retirement. He was a 35 year member of A.A. and treasured the relationships he made there.
He is survived by his son, George Selleck and daughter, Lorie Selleck (Bret Schultz); grandchildren, Debra, J.R., Rachel, William, Sarah, Leah, Adrienne and Audrey; great-grandchildren, Max, Michael and Melina; siblings, Forest and Carol; K9 friend, Chester, as well as many other family and friends. William was preceded in death by his wife, Janet Ann; daughter, Janet Ann; parents and sisters, Edna and Amy.
Family and friends may visit from 4 to 6 pm on Friday, March 7, 2014 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon where a Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions can be made directly to his family.
