Heading home to Heaven, William “Bill” H. Miller Jr., 82, of Northwood, Ohio left the Earth on Monday, May 28, 2012 to join his beloved wife, and parents. He was born on May 30, 1929 in Baltimore, Maryland to William H. and Elizabeth (Temple) Miller. Bill served our country as a member of the U.S. Navy and now is serving God. He enjoyed collecting coins and composing family trees.
Surviving are his sons, David and Keith Miller; three grandchildren; siblings, Alfred, Charles, Rita and Marion as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Joyce Miller and parents.
Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, June 7 from 9-11 a.m. where a celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. that day. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery. Friends and family who would like to make donations are asked to consider a local veterans organization of their choosing.
