WILLIAM E. KAMELESKY
William E. Kamelesky, 64, of Northwood, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo on June 24, 1950 to William H. and Beverly (Spetz) Kamelesky and was a 1968 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School. He received a full ride scholarship at the University of Toledo where in his Freshman year was the top pick for Quarterback.
He worked as a millwright with Interlake Steel, Koppers and Toledo Coke thru Local 1-346 where he served as union steward. Bill received his electrical training at Owens Community College and worked as an electrician for Brush Wellman (now Materion) retiring in 2013, after 20 years of service.
Bill was passionate about watching and playing golf. He also enjoyed fishing, family horseshoe tournaments and “Jack” Fridays. Most of all, he loved spending time with his nine grandchildren and watching them shine in all they do.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; children, Bill (Kim), Brad and Trisha; grandchildren, Will, Lauren, Blake, Jonny, Kloee, Brianna, Kylie, Katrina and Jase; brothers, Mike, Pat (Judy), Terry (Kris) and Tim (Tammy); sister, Lesa (Darryl) Reynolds and brothers-in-law, A.J. (Kay) Wallake and Thomas (Sandra) Wallake along with many dear nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Epiphany of the Lord Parish-St. Stephen Church, 1880 Genesee St. in Toledo where family will receive guests one hour prior. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions can be made in to St. Stephen Church or to Hospice of Northwest Ohio. Arrangements are being handled by the Freck Funeral Chapel.
