William "Wild Bill" Huss

William S. Huss, 80, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2021.  He was born on September 17, 1940 in Oregon, Ohio to Clair and Vera Huss.  Bill was a 1959 graduate of Clay High School and was inducted into the Clay High School Hall of Fame.  Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army before working as a truck driver for Jones Transfer.  He also was the owner and operator of Fleitz Marina and a member of the YMCA for over 50 years.  He will be dearly missed.

Bill is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Judy; daughter, Tonnalee (Doug) Emch; grandchildren, William and Jake Emch; siblings, Clair Huss, Janet Zunk, Clarence Huss, James (MaryLou) Huss and sister-in-law, Janice (Carl) Kiel.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private family services were held for Bill and he was laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park.  Raise a glass in memory of Bill.  Memorial contributions can be made to the YMCA-Eastern Community Branch.
