WILLIAM JOSEPH “JOE” GERAGHTY
William “Joe” Geraghty, 67, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2015, while in the care of hospice. He was born Oct 8, 1947, in Toledo, Ohio to William and Letha Geraghty. Joe was a devoted father and husband, and he truly adored his wife, Pat of 44 years. He retired from Ace Hardware Corporation and was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Joe is survived by his loving wife, Pat; his sons, William Ross, Jeff Geraghty (Louise) and Tom Geraghty (Amanda); daughter, Jo Ann Romero (Jeff); brother, Thomas Geraghty (Jennifer); sisters, Kathy Geraghty and Wanda Hendricks (David) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Letha Geraghty; brothers, Robert and Brad; sister, Novella and granddaughter, Anabelle Grace.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, after 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015. Services honoring Joe’s life will begin at 6:00 p.m. with full military honors. Burial will remain private.
