William H. Carder, 58, of Toledo, OH passed away on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, OH. He was born in Toledo, OH on October 18, 1957 to Luther and Eloise (Bollinger) Carder. Bill worked as a Deck Hand on the Edmund Fitzgerald and worked construction for various companies. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and listening to Country and Rock music. Bill deeply loved his family and friends and the time spent with them will forever be remembered fondly.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Richard, Delmar (Judy), Robert, Rick (Lori) Carder; sisters, Clara (Mike) Jadlocki, Ada Johnson, Valaen (Jerry) Hauser, Linda Matheny, and Cheryl (Doug) Curns. Bill is also survived by many nieces and nephews and best friend, Candy Buck. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Donna Carder and Sandra (Annette) Milam.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 2 to 8 p.m. where his funeral will take at 6 p.m. that day. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to his family.
