Wayne V. Cutcher, 88, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. He was born on August 3, 1927 in Toledo to Vincent and Orlena (Cullenen) Cutcher and was a graduate of Central Catholic High School.

He owned Wayne’s Barber Shop on Oak Street in Toledo and had worked as a carpenter assistant for the Toledo Museum of Art. Wayne enjoyed watching sports and was a Cleveland Indians and a Notre Dame football fan.

Wayne is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Phyllis (Limmer) Cutcher; children, Thomas (Sharon) Cutcher, Richard (Rebecca) Cutcher, Elizabeth (Jeff) Pownell and Daniel (Julie) Cutcher; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter; brother, Dave Cutcher and sister, Rose (Ray) Luyet along with many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Michael Cutcher and sisters, Judy Gorski and Marlene Kutchenriter.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Monday, August 10, 2015 after 2:00 p.m. with the Funeral Service to begin at 6:00 p.m. Burial will be private at Fort Meigs Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
