Wayne Richard Allen Sr., 78, of Rossford, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in his home surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born on May 7, 1936 in Portage, Ohio to James and Goldie (Rodgers) Allen.  Wayne worked at Hatfield Olds, Maumee for over 30 years until retiring in 1998. He married Carole (Rideout) Cedoz in 1988 making a life together in Oregon and later in Rossford. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Wayne bowled for many years (bowling a 300 game) and played on the church dartball team. He was a very hard worker working 3 jobs at once several times in his life. After retiring from Hatfield Olds he worked, part time at, Food Town, Meijer, The Toledo Zoo and Interstate Lanes. He and his family enjoyed camping particularly in Nashville, Branson and even seasonal camped in Indiana and Ohio. Wayne was a loyal Cleveland Indians fan, loved classic cars, country music, model railroads and his church family too. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Carole; children, Richard (Gwen) Allen Jr., Jim (Rachel) Allen and Daina Allen; step-children, Jennifer (Jon) Rohloff, Beth (Eric) Sheely, Susan Manning, Marty (Josie) Cedoz, Mike (Wendy) Cedoz; grandchildren, Heather, Chris, Casey, Zachary, Chelsea, Jamison, Cailyn, Mary, Waverly, Jennifer and Reanna; step-grandchildren, Summer, Sarah, Ashley, Tyler, Natasha, Rachel, Jordan, Kevin, Leanne, Laura, Glenn, Alyssa, Joshua, Thomas, Kaitlyn, Karyn; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Javen, Ellie, Victoria, Arianna, Alyse, Tyson, Alexandra, Alivia, Simone, Brielle, Channing, Jaxson and Karmyn. He is also survived by his sister, Virginia Austin; brother Don (Linda) Allen and niece Susanna; best friend, Fred McLaughlin and many other nieces, nephews and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jim, Darold, Harry, Bob and sisters, Frances and Helen.

Arrangements are being handled by the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Visitation will take place at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1930 Bradner Rd, Northwood, at 10 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Promedica Hospice or Calvary Lutheran Church.
