Warren Brim, 86, a resident of the Parkcliffe Community at Northwood passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. He was born March 31, 1930 in Toledo to Ray and Esther (Gross) Brim. He attended Millbury grade school and was a 1948 graduate of Lake High School. Warren received his Bachelor degree from B.G.S.U. and later his PHD in Philosophy from O.S.U.  He then had an illustrious career teaching Physics at O.S.U. Branch in Lima.

Along with his companion of 30 years, Libby Lloyd, he spent countless hours gardening, traveling, art, music, and spending time with others.  His numerous journals portrayed his interests in politics, gardening, and the details of his life.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carolyn (Robert) Baldwin; nephew, Benjamin Baldwin and companion, Libby Lloyd. He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Bob (Wanda) Baldwin, John (Linda) Baldwin, Zita “Sunny” (Tom) Castor, Richard (Barb) Baldwin, Pete (Gloria) Baldwin, Tara Baldwin, Sam (Lisa) Baldwin and Jane (Garth) Brittenham.

Warren's family wants to express their sincere thanks to Parkcliffe and Great Lakes Hospice for their compassionate care at the end of his life.

A Memorial Service celebrating Warren’s life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at the Freck Funeral Chapel at 11 a.m. with the family to receive guests one hour prior. Inurnment will be private at Lake Twp Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the donor’s choice.
