Walter “Bob” Alder

Walter Robert Alder, 87, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020 at Skld Nursing Home in Perrysburg.  He was born on December 2, 1932 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Jewell and Grace Alder.  Bob was a 1951 graduate of Libbey High School.  He was a self-employed Painter with A & W Painting.

Walter is survived by his loving wife, Marguerite; children, Dianna (Strat) Zervos, Deborah (Ron) Collins, Deana (Edward) Ramsey, Robert (Sandra) Alder, Tina (Albert Jr) Brown and Robert (Lisa) Born; 16 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and his brother, Bill (Gay) Alder.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Kenneth Alder; grandson, Dustin Ramsey; great-grandson, Stratton Zervos II and, son-in-law, Stratton Zervos and nephew, Kenneth Alder.

Private burial will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.  Services will be held at a later date.
