Virginia H. Lombardo, 89, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. She was born on August 8, 1925 in Toledo to Peter and Anna Ulrich. Virginia worked as a unit clerk and was a volunteer in the cancer center at Mercy St. Charles Hospital. Virginia was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church and Northwood V.F.W.-Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her children: Mark Lombardo and Tonya (Jim) Chase, several grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren with one on the way and her sisters, Betty (Duke) Stranze and Mary (Al) Stoneman. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Anthony; son, Danny and infant daughter, Tina.
A celebration of Virginia’s life will be held at a later date. Freck Funeral Chapel is handling the arrangements.
