Virginia M. Hoffmann, 86, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Monday, March 18, 2013 at Parkcliffe Community at Northwood. She was born in Ferndale, Michigan to Benard and Hallie Mae Zeunen. She was an executive secretary for the Midland Ross Corporation for many years. Virginia was a devoted member of First St. John’s Lutheran Church as well as a member of the V.F.W. ladies Auxiliary in Walbridge and Friends of Pearson Park. She was the former Bayberry Ladies Activity Director and helped start the Luckey Public Library.
Virginia is survived by her loving son, John (Nancy) Hoffmann; grandchildren: Holly (Bob) Yenrick, Adam (Ashley) Hoffmann, Braden (Lauren) Hoffmann and Chandler (Amanda) Hoffmann; great-grandchildren, Rebekah, Palmer and Olivia Yenrick and Alexander, Avery, Daniel and Alaina Hoffmann and brother, Robert Zeunen. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert.
A memorial gathering will be held from 12 -2 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Freck Funeral Chapel where a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider Heartland Hospice or Parkcliffe Community at Northwood.
