Velma Grace Weatherholt
Velma Grace Weatherholt, age 99, of Northwood, Ohio passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, February 24, 2014. She was born on June 2, 1914 in Covington, KY. to Albert and Cora Wainscott. Velma was a charter member of the East Toledo Baptist Church and was known as a Prayer Warrior. She was always doing work for her Lord. She will be dearly missed.
Velma is survived by her son, Gary (Judy) Weatherholt; grandchildren: Kimberly (Dean) Edwards and Phillip (Corrie) Weatherholt; great-grandchildren: Jeremy, Ashley, Seth, Jordan, Garrett, Brookelynn and Austin and one great great-grandson, William on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, F.S. Weatherholt; brothers, Bob and Charles and great-grandson, Alec.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday from 2-7 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY. Memorial contributions can be made to the East Toledo Baptist Church or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
