Valerie J. (Coehrs) Grosjean

Valerie J. Grosjean, age 60, of Oregon, Ohio passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on September 22, 1952 in El Paso, TX. to Jim and Marilyn (Faneuff) Coehrs.  Valerie was a 1970 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School.  She worked for Toledo Trust for 5 years before starting a family with her husband, Dennis whom she married on September 8, 1972.  Together they raised three children.  Valerie was a budding artist who had a great love for art.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with the grandkids.  She will be dearly missed.

Valerie is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Dennis; children:  Melanie Grosjean, Timothy (Angela) Grosjean and Amanda (Benjamin) Milliron; grandchildren:  Nolan, Logan and Lilian; her siblings, Jim Coehrs, Sue (John) Hansen, Cheryl (Tony) Calvis, Kathleen (Kevin) Ricker, Gary (Karen) Coehrs, David (Patti) Coehrs, Julie (Tom) McNamee, Thom (Karen) Coehrs and Diane (Phil) Schober and her brother and sister-in-law, Ken (LaRae) Grosjean.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jim.

Friends and family may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH on Sunday, February 24, 2013 from 2-8 p.m. where a scripture service will be held at 8 p.m.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church at 11 a.m. where the family will greet friends one hour prior to Mass.  Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation or Helping Hands of St. Louis.
