Toney L. Trinckler

November 4, 1953 — May 16, 2016

Toney L. Trinckler, 62, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 16, 2016 surrounded by his family and friends at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo on November 4, 1953 to Bernard and Lucille (Chappell) Trinckler and was a 1971 graduate of Rogers High School. For 36 years, Toney worked in telephone repair for AT&T retiring in 2009 and a member of the C.W.A. Retired Members Chapter Local 4319. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and tipping ‘Bud Lights’ with his numerous friends. He was an avid golfer and treasured the times he spent golfing with his dad. Toney loved to ride his motorcycle especially trips to Sturgis and Milwaukee with his buddies and wife, Diane.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Diane; son, Christopher Trinckler (Joe Vella); daughter, Sara (Brian) Fluke; grandchildren, Josh Vella, Gabe Fluke and Liam Fluke; sister, Kyle (Mark) Dodd and father and stepmother, Bernard (Marge) Trinckler along with many beloved nieces, nephews and K-9 companion, Maxine. Toney was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Lucy and Dale Bugbee; brother, Josh Bugbee; stepson, Jason Bischoff and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Lowell and Dorothy Dille.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 3-9 p.m.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday in the funeral home at 10 a.m.  Burial will follow at St. Rose Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.

His family wishes to thank all the friends, neighbors, co-workers, the caring staff and physicians at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, the Hickman Cancer Center and the Toledo Clinic Cancer Center who saw him thru this rugged journey. A special thank you to his best friend, Terry Newman for never leaving his side and supporting the family.
