Toby Alan Friess

Toby Alan Friess age 66 of Oregon passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024, peacefully surrounded by family at Hospice of Northwest Ohio -Toledo. Toby was born to Richard and Carolyn (Jessee) Friess in Toledo, Ohio on March 15, 1958. He was a 1976 graduate of Clay High School. Toby was a die-hard Cowboys fan and enjoyed watching The Ohio State Buckeyes. He was an avid pool player winning Pool League Championships in 1985, 1986, 1987, 1988, and 1989. Toby always helped people when he could and will be dearly missed.

Toby was the father of Brittany (Doug) Stork, grandpa of Paige Smith and Gavin Stork, pop pop of Cainen A. Marckel, son of Richard W. Friess, brother of Tammy (Richard Garcia) Friess, uncle of Crystal (Tommy) Lindsay, and great-uncle of James Lindsay. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Toby was preceded in death by his mother Carolyn Friess, grandmother Ollie Mae Jessee, and the love of his life, Dana Rosendale.    

A visitation will be held at  Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S Wynn Rd in Oregon on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Burial will be held at Lake Township Cemetery on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 11:30 a.m.The family wishes to thank Hospice of Northwest Ohio for all their wonderful care of Toby.
