Timothy Allen Steele, age 53, has found peace with his Savior, Jesus Christ, and has gone home to be with his Lord in heaven.
Tim was born April 24, 1961, in Trenton, Michigan, to John and Joan Steele. Tim resided in Oregon, Ohio with his wife of 28 years and family.
Tim was a hard-working employee of Chrysler for 23 years. He was the proud owner of two businesses. Tim partnered with his best friend, Corey, to form a painting company called Covenant Enterprises. More recently, Tim owned and operated Steele’s and Deals Resale Shop. He was also a member of the Grace Community Church family.
Tim will be remembered for so many unique qualities that shaped him to be a man whose spirited personality will always continue to shine in the hearts of countless loved ones. He was an adoring husband, father, and grandfather to his two granddaughters who gave him abundant happiness. He had a special joy and excitement for life, which for some can grow dull with age, but for Tim, only grew more vibrant. Tim was one who had knowledge in almost any subject and was able to fix anything. He was a lifelong learner, and had special interests in world history and astronomy. One of his most endearing attributes was his passion for story telling and conversation that he was quick to strike up with anyone. He had a gift of making any short story long. Tim had an undeniable love for people and was like a father to many. Many people were blessed by his gift of encouragement and his servant heart. Those fortunate to have known him appreciated that, “when Tim hugged you, you knew you were loved and not judged”.
Timothy is survived by his wife, Dianna Steele, children, Rebecca and Mathew Ingram, David, Jared, and grandchildren, Vivian, Josephine, and new baby coming in December. Survivors also include his siblings, David, Mike, Jane, Paul, Catherine, John, Nancy, Pat, Dan, mother in law Mary Segur, life long best friend Corey Morgan, Pastor and friend Gerry Soviar and many nieces, nephews and in laws.
A celebration of Tim’s life, with a viewing, will be held Friday, October 10th, from 2 till 8 PM at Freck Funeral Chapel located at 1155 South Wynn Rd, Oregon, OH 43616. Memorial service on Saturday, October 11th, at 11 AM at Hope Community Church located at 5650 Starr Ave Oregon, OH 43616, with a luncheon immediately following.
