Thomas Morris, 80, of Genoa, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Toledo Center. He was born on September 8, 1935 in Toledo to Meirl and Virgie Morris. Thomas served in the U.S. Air Force, during the Korean War. He worked many years as a truck driver for the Chrysler Corporation. In his spare time, Thomas enjoyed fishing, boating, hunting and working on model airplanes from WWI.
Thomas is survived by his sons, Tom (Donna) Morris and Don (Vickie) Morris; numerous grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Phil (Judy) Morris and Sid Morris; close family friends, Ron and Connie Piotrowski and their girls as well as several other special friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Julia; sons, Jeff and Ron and brothers, Leo, Joe, Chuck and Dale.
Visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 from 2 - 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
