THOMAS J. BUCKLEY
Thomas J. Buckley, 60, of Perrysburg, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013, at Mercy St. Anne Hospital. He was born in Norfolk, VA on November 30, 1952 to James T. and Mary Ellen (Whalen) Buckley and graduated with a nursing degree from Owens Community College. For over 33 years, Tom was a nurse working with Riverside Hospital then with Mercy St. Anne Hospital as an ER nurse. He enjoyed camping and fishing in his spare time. He was an avid football fan, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and coaching Peewee football. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church.
Tom is survived by his loving wife, Nancy L. (Lindsey) Buckley; sons, TJ (Katie), Scott (fiancée Tori Stamm) and Sean Buckley; grandsons, Tyler and Kyle Buckley; mother, Mary Ellen; brothers, Tim (Cheryl) and Terry (Dee) Buckley; and sister, Tonia (Dennis) Adkins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jim.
Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, OH where a memorial service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will be private. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
