Theresa H. Shockey, 90, of Toledo passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at her home. She was born on September 28, 1926 in Toledo to Stephen and Elizabeth Horvath and was a loving wife of Robert Shockey who preceded her in death. Theresa was a faithful member of St. Stephen Catholic Church. In her spare time, she volunteered at St. Vincent de Paul Society. Theresa will be dearly missed.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews and their families. Theresa was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Helen Bacher and Elizabeth Lesko and brother, Stephen Horvath.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at Epiphany of the Lord Parish – St. Stephen Catholic Church with the family to receive guests after 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the church. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Theresa’s niece, Anita for her compassionate care.
