Theresa Ellen Hart

Theresa “Tess” Ellen Hart, age 78, passed away Monday, October 9, 2023 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo Campus. She was born in Toledo, Ohio to James and Florence (Parrish) Suprise on March 26, 1945. She married the love of her life, Edward, and together they watched their family grow. Tess was active in veteran service organizations, the Red Hats, St. Peter United Church of Christ and the Women’s Guild at the church. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.

Tess leaves behind her husband, Edward; her children, Richard (Laura), Randall (Penny), Andrew (Jenny), and Amy (Kevin); her 13 grandchildren; her 10 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Jeannie. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Florence; her brother, Joseph; and her sister, Barbara “Susie.”

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to the Ottawa County Humane Society.
