Terri Anne Collette, age 70, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She was born on August 15, 1952 in Seattle, Washington to Paul and Alice (Hooper) Collette. Terri traveled the country as a military child, with her family and beloved Stevie, her stuffed monkey, finally settling in Toledo in 1968.
Terri was a graduate of Woodward High School, Class of ’72. She worked at Little Sisters of the Poor nursing home for over 20 years. Terri was vice president of the Residents Committee at Orchard Villa, where she lived. She enjoyed crafts there and played bingo as often as possible.
Terri loved bingo, cooking, spending time with family and friends, doing crafts, going to the movies, going for lunch, dancing, and out for drives with great music. She also loved Troll Dolls, Duck Dynasty, and Jimmy Johnson. Most of all she loved her family, her cat Cow-Kitty, her stuffed monkey Stevie, and selflessly helping others. Anyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting Terri also had a “friend for life.” She brightened every day and was the sunshine in every room, the absolute Joy of Life!
Terri leaves behind her father, Paul Collette; sisters, Barb (Larry) Poole, Mitchi (Beth) Collette, and Karen Collette; brothers, Ken (Anne) Collette and Allen Collette; aunts, Shirley Hooper, and Ellie (Ray) Olsen; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; cousins; friends and best friend Dorothy Bartlett. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Collette; grandparents and her beloved “Cow-Kitty”.
