Suzanne R. Smotherman, age 77, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center. She was born on September 1, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to Benny and Neva Rodgers. Suzanne loved spending time with her family, playing cards and bingo. In her spare time, she was often found watching soap operas. Suzanne was a sweetheart to everyone and will be dearly missed.
Suzanne is survived by her children, Kathy (Gregory) Kamer, and Galen Collins; nine grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great great-granddaughters, and her sister, Dionna Mae Miller. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Connie Graham; and her siblings, Joyce, Johnny, and Calvin.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 10 – 2:00 p.m.
