Susan Mara Fahle

Susan Mara Fahle, age 60, of Perrysburg, OH passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022. She was born March 17, 1962 in Toledo, OH to Claude and Evelyn (Skinner) Clark. Susan grew up in Sylvania Township and attended Sylvania Northview High School. She graduated from the University of Toledo with an Associate of Arts degree in Medical Assisting. Sue enjoyed working and thought highly of the doctors and coworkers. She was employed for 16 years and only left after her condition declined. Sue had a 17-year battle with breast cancer and was determined to beat the disease with the support from her family.

Sue loved being “Grammie” to her grandchildren which gave her so much joy and she would take many trips with her husband, Bob, to visit the family in Florida. Susan loved to camp. They would travel in their camper which Bob didn’t mind it as long as they had air conditioning. Sue and her cousins also did an annual trip where they rented a cabin and enjoyed each other’s company.

Sue leaves behind her husband, Robert; her children, Tyler, Brody (Nicci), and Ethan; her grandchildren, Conner, Colton, and Annastyn; and her brother, Randy (Mary) Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Greg Clark.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church, 26535 Pemberville Rd, Perrysburg, OH on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 10 am. Susan will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Park. The family wishes to thank everyone who sent cards, called or visited Sue. The last five years she had many battles and appreciated all the support from her family and friends. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to James Cancer Clinic, Columbus, OH or Zion Lutheran Church.
