Steven A. Siford

Steven A. Siford, age 79, of Curtice, OH, passed away at Mercy St. Charles Hospital on Sunday, July 7, 2024. He was born in Tulsa, OK to Joseph and Geraldine (Cooper) Siford on December 5, 1944 and later grew up in Findlay, OH. Steven was a graduate of Findlay High School and later attended Northwood University and Miami University where he played football at each college and dove for Miami University. Steven was a swim and diving coach with a career spanning fifty years between St. Francis de Sales High School, St. Ursula High School, University of Findlay, and several colleges and club programs in Illinois and Ohio. He was married to Chris Littleton for 23 years and later, he married Kathleen Bohland-Martens December 13, 1990 and together they enjoyed life. When in Findlay, he was active at the Findlay First Church of God. Steven’s memory will live on the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Kathleen; his children, Barbara (John) Morgan, Scott (Janet) Siford, Jessica Siford, Megan (Christian) Griswold; his step-children, Jeff (Elizabeth) Martens, Kari (Dennis) Rigg, Jennie Meyers, Sarah (Jay) Zeemer, Laura Martens, and Katie (Kyle) Norton; his 23 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Geraldine Siford.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel , 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, July 11, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the funeral service held at 7:00 p.m. Steven will be laid to rest with his parents at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay, OH. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Toledo Zoo.
