Steven Lee “Goof” Schermerhorn Jr., 37, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2015. He was born in Toledo, Ohio, on March 29, 1978 to Steven L. Schermerhorn Sr. and Tammy (Bartlett) Cornelius. Steven was a restaurant worker. He enjoyed rapping known as “Scherm” and was an entrepreneur selling jerseys and ball caps. Steven was loving and caring father who will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his children, Abrielle, Brittany, Carly, Michael and Brayden; grandson, Hunter; parents; step-mother, Cheryl; siblings, Chad, Jessica, Jamie and Daisy; step-brother, Christopher; many aunts and uncles also surviving is his dog, Cleo Bug. Steven was preceded in death by his grandparents; sister, Tammy and step-father, James.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 2 to 8 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be to the family.
