Steven A. Martin, 60, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on December 30, 1953 to Clyde and Doris (Minor) Martin and had worked for Inter Lake Steel. Steven was an avid NASCAR fan; his favorites being Dale Earnhardt and Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
He is survived by his siblings, Don (Naomi) Martin, Kathy (Jim) Drouillard, Barbara (Butch) Bennett, Lisa (Ed) Wingenroth, Paula (Mark) Ulinski; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Tracie), Eric (Tara), Emily (Mark), Sarah (Dave), Andrea (Ed), David (Kayla), Brian (Kristi) and Abbey; great-nephew, Nicholas and great-niece, Piper along with his cats, Monty and Lucy and other extended family members. Steven was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd, Oregon, on Saturday, December 13, 2014 after 1 p.m. with the Memorial Service to begin at 3 p.m.. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Oregon Fire Station No. 1 in appreciation for their care and compassion shown to “Uncle Steve”.
