Steven Roger Ashford

Steven Roger Ashford, 50, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away after a long hard battle with kidney disease and cancer on Saturday, November 20, 2021. He was born in Toledo, OH on May 26, 1971.  He was a 1989 graduate of Bowsher High School and went on to marry the love of his life, Julie (Mathena) Ashford, and together they raised their family. Steven worked for many years as a porter.

Steven leaves behind his wife, Julie; his children, Ashley (William) Poulson, and Kelsey (Martin) Roberts; his grandson, Andrew “Doodle Bob;” his mother, Betty Marsh and his siblings, Valerie, Dain, JC, Leland, Clifton, Gathern, Joie, and Gracie. He was preceded in death by his father, Clinton Ashford; his siblings, Gathern, Sabrina, and Marshall

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, December 3, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. with the memorial service to be held at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
