Stephen B. Crabtree

Stephen B. Crabtree, age 62, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 from cancer. He was born on June 17, 1958 to the late Clifford C. and Eleanora (Cousino) Crabtree in Toledo. He graduated from Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School.

Stephen is survived by his daughter, Rosie Messinger; sisters, Becky Crabtree, Vickie Steck, Sue (Steve) Noethen; brothers, Ray (Kathy) Crabtree, Ken Crabtree; granddaughter, Lilli Partee; nieces and nephews, Brian, Chris, Matt, Chelsea, Jessica, Allison, Mike, Ted, Tim, Katie; great nieces and nephews, Sean, Austin, Evan, Addie, Tyler, Travis, Cora, Sadie, Violet, Dahlia, Hazel; great-great nephew Landon; and special cousin, Ruby. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Eleanora Crabtree; brother, Philip; and brother-in-law, Joe Steck.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Friday, January 29, 2021, from 2:00-7:00 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. and will continue on to the Funeral Mass that will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, 212 North Stadium Road, Oregon.  Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio or Helping Hands of St Louis.
