Shirley Clyde, 69, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital on Thursday, November 29, 2012. Shirley was born in Toledo, Ohio to Andrew and Mary (Pioterek) Misiewicz on April 22, 1943. In past years, Shirley worked as a nurse aide for the Lutheran Home at Toledo. She was a member of the James Hancock Senior center and in her spare time, Shirley enjoyed baking, cooking, visiting craft shows and in the winter, traveled to Mexico in their RV.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 25 years, Cody Clyde; children, Timothy DeLuca, Randy DeLuca Sr.; step-children, Cody J. Clyde, Coann (David) Brown, Lynn Fox, Kim Eid, Tracey (Noel) Christen; grandchildren, Randy DeLuca Jr., Felicity DeLuca, Macy DeLuca, Sydney Dile and first husband, Angelo DeLuca and other loving family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Mary; step-son, Wade Clyde.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd. Oregon, Ohio on Sunday, December 2, 2012 from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Monday at noon, followed by burial in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the James Hancock Senior center.
