Shirley A. Cluckey, 80, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at ProMedica St. Luke’s Hospital in Maumee, Ohio. She was born on August 3, 1935 in Toledo, Ohio to Charles and Catherine (Proshek) Lambert.
Shirley worked as a cook for Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center until 1978 and ran a day care in her home for 17 years. Later in her life she worked at Daimler Chrysler and Honeywell as a cook for 6 years. Most recently she was a volunteer at ProMedica St. Luke’s Hospital. Shirley was a member of Grace United Methodist Church. She enjoyed Crocheting and playing games with her family and friends.
Shirley is survived by her children, Ronald (Cindy) Lee, Cindy (John) Ackerman and Jaime (Brian Krawetzke) Cluckey; grandchildren, Craig, Kevin, Cheryl, Lisa and Becca; niece, Inga (Tom) Wood; as well as many extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Gary Lee; brothers, Sonny and Bob Lambert; as well as her dog, Francis.
Visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel on Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. the next day. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hill Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace United Methodist Church.
