Shirlene F. Henry

Shirlene F. Henry, age 80, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at home surrounded by family. She was born on August 15, 1944 in Toledo, Ohio to Norbert and Ellen (Williams) Sund. Shirlene was a 1962 graduate of Whitmer High School. She worked for St. Charles Hospital for 38 years. She started out in Medical Records, then moving up to unit clerk and eventually retiring from the Admitting Registration Department. Shirlene was deeply religious and a woman of faith. She was a member of Harvest Lane Alliance Church where she attended Bible Study groups and made many friends over the years. In her spare time, Shirlene enjoyed traveling, listening to Elvis, crocheting, and reading. She also was a huge Betty Boop fan. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Shirlene is survived by her children, Kimberley (Mike) Kessler, Doug (Renee) Kessler, Krista (Jeff) Warren, Karin (Don) Ihnot, and Kalyn (Justin) Hardin; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Roger (Kathi) Sund, Michael (Arlene) Riebe, Garry (Rhonda) Riebe, Nancy (Richard) Morris, Gregory (DeAnne) Riebe, Melanie (Scott) Riebe, Natalie Riebe, Nelson (Scott) Smallman and Nealson Smallman. She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Timothy Kessler, and siblings, Dale Sund, Shelly Denney, and Jeffrey Riebe.

Family and friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel on Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 2-6:00 p.m. where services will follow at 6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions can be made to Harvest Lane Alliance Church.
