Sherry A. (Hudson) Ruiz

Sherry A. (Hudson) Ruiz, 59, of Toledo, died unexpectedly on Sunday, May 2, 2021. She was born to Nelson and June Hudson. She was a fun-loving, caring, crafty person who was a friend to one and all, and would give anything to anyone in need. Her and her husband Andy enjoyed their time at Sunny’s Campground in Wauseon, Sherry’ s “happy place”.

Sherry is survived by her husband Andres Ruiz, children Randy (Suzie) Hudson of Dallas, Texas, Arianna (Jeremy Gonzales) Hudson of Toledo, Agapito Ruiz of Toledo, and Tony Amborski of Parma, Ohio; mother June (Luther) Parker; grandchildren Lillianna and Jeremy Jr. Gonzales, Katera Amborski and Jayden Thornton whom she loved very much. She was known as “Grammy” to them. In addition, she is survived by her sisters Suzanne Hudson, Brenda Goeckerman and Dottie Schwierking, brothers William (Debby) Hudson and Timothy (Kimberly) Hudson and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved and will miss her. She was preceded in death by her father Nelson Hudson, nephew Michael Jaso, and grandparents Floyd and Marie Sailer and Garland and Marietta Hudson.

A memorial service will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon, Ohio on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. A visitation will be held from 12 until the time of service at 2 p.m. Memorial contributions are appreciated to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
