Shawna Lynn Garcia

Shawna Garcia, 52, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 12, 2021.  She was born on November 15, 1968 in Toledo, Ohio to Karen Sibbersen and Larry Wilhelm.  Shawna attended Clay High School.  She enjoyed playing backgammon with her family, listening to music and coloring.  She will be dearly missed.

Shawna is survived by her son, Michael Garcia; daughter, Miranda Garcia; grandchildren, Jaxen and Jilliana; father, Larry and Nancy Wilhelm; mother, Karen Wilhelm; step siblings, Jimmy (Sue) Osenbaugh and Cyndi Osenbaugh and several aunts and uncles.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Doug Wilhelm.

A memorial gathering will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, August 18, 2021, from 4-6:00 p.m. where a memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
