Shawn Michael Wolniewicz

Shawn Michael Wolniewicz, age 40, of Williston, OH, passed away Tuesday, June 20, 2023 unexpectedly at home. He was born in Oregon, OH to Terrence and Nancy (McKibbin) Wolniewicz on May 12, 1983. Shawn was employed as a booking officer for the Lucas County Court of Common Pleas. When not at work, he enjoyed collecting antiques, guns, coins, and military memorabilia; however, his greatest joy in life was his family.

Left to cherish Shawn’s memory is his loving fiancé, Miranda; his children, Callie, Austin, and Brayden “B”; his father, Terry; his two dogs, Charli and Marley; and many extended family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a funeral service to be held at 7:00 p.m. Shawn will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the family.
