Sharon M. Czyzewski, 72, of Oregon, Ohio passed away Friday, December 21, 2012 at Mercy-St. Vincent’s Hospital in Toledo. She was born in Toledo on August 27, 1940 to Forest V. and Eleanore (Kwapich) Rogers and was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy. She received her Bachelors and Master’s degree in Education from the University of Toledo and was invited to attend the Summer Program of Miami University in Ohio of which she was extremely proud. She was a teacher for over forty years in Toledo parochial and public schools and was affectionately known as “Mrs. C.” Sharon was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 50 years, Daniel; daughter, Therese Anne (John) Jordan; son, Martin D. Czyzewski (Cyndi Hammersmith); grandchildren, Jack , Ben and Sam Jordan and Leslie A. Czyzewski; and brother, Jeffrey (Barbara) Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Timothy Rogers.
A memorial gathering will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, Oregon, Ohio where a Memorial Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Notre Dame Academy Alumnae Organization or St. Ignatius Building Fund.
Because I could not stop for Death,
