Sara J. Keller, 88, of Freeport, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014 at Cambridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cambridge, Ohio. She was born in Toledo on March 10, 1926 to Henry and Anna (Flietz) Gladieux and had worked as a laborer for over 37 years for St. Regius Paper Co. Sara enjoyed riding around in her golf cart, cutting grass with her riding mower and burning yard debris.
She is survived by her brother, Barney (Carole) Gladieux. Sara was preceded in death by her parents; her siblings, Elmer “Hal” Gladieux, Glenn Gladieux, Leonard Gladieux, Bea Smith, Roy Gladieux, Gerald Gladieux and Elizabeth Metzger and her canine companion, Pepi.
Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 from 2 - 8 p.m. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. and continue on with the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Ignatius Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery.
