Sandra Kay Taylor

Sandra Kay Taylor age 79, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away February 18, 2022 at Toledo Hospital. Sandra was born to Ronald Allen and Hazel (Dwight) Davenport on May 5, 1942 in Millbury, Ohio. Sandra worked as a nurse’s aide for Riverside Hospital, a bus driver for Lake Local Schools and her favorite job working at the Millbury Fire Hall. She was an amazing cook who loved to make wedding cakes, cater parties and decorate the fire hall for weddings. Sandy was very community oriented and touched a lot of lives. She volunteered for the Lake Township Party in the Park, the Fire Maids and enjoyed spending time with her prayer group. Sandra was also a talented seamstress and an artist.

Sandra is survived by her daughter Shelly (Harry Thompson) Cousino; grandsons Bryan (Chelsea) Corbin, Derrick Lee, Douglas (Maddie) Lee; great-grandchildren Chloe, Colt, Rosalyn; special granddaughter Destiny; and siblings Shanna (Leroy) Kelley, Nancy (Tom) Santini, and Ron (Penni) Davenport. She was proud to be a loving step-mother and step-grandmother to the Burnette, Taylor and Macintosh families. She was preceded in death by her parents; three husbands Earl Burnette, Harry Taylor and Mack Macintosh; and daughter Debbie Zajac.

Friends may visit Freck Funeral Chapel 1155 S. Wynn Rd. in Oregon on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from 10 until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the chapel at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions are appreciated to the family.
