Sandra Dee Sargent

Sandra Dee Sargent, 60, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was born April 24, 1961 in Toledo, Ohio. Sandra worked for many years as a housekeeper at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital and as a merchandiser for American Greetings; she cherished the friendships she made along the way. Sandra’s most important work was being a mother to her children whom she loved so dearly. Sandra enjoyed helping others and deeply loved volunteering at Genacross in the activities center. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and taking them on special outings as a family. Sandra enjoyed crafting and loved to decorate for the holidays, especially Halloween.  She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, especially by so many friends who became like family.

Sandra leaves behind her children, Robert Jr. (Kristina) Hineline and Melissa (Ryan) Snyder; her grandchildren, Bentley, Hailey, Jaxon, Bella, Keana, Kylee, Alex, and Makenzie; her sister, Bonnie (Matt) Wheeler; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Rylin; her siblings, Bob, Patti and Pam (Ron); her niece, Angel; and her mother, Nancy.

Family and friends may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd in Oregon on Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the American Heart Association.
