Sandra “Sandie” Lynn Millslagle
Sandra Lynn Millslagle born, July 10, 1985 in Lima, OH to Jeffrey and Orpha Millslagle, passed away suddenly on June 18, 2013 in Portsmouth, VA where she has lived the past 4 years.
She had worked at Lima Community Church as the technical director and served WTLW TV 44 in Lima in a wide variety of capacities before moving to VA. She was a frontline manager at Bed Bath and Beyond in Newport News, VA.
Sandie had many interests and she excelled in photography. She ran 2 Ultra Marathons finishing 1st in her age bracket in the Bel Monte Endurance Race 50K in 2010. Her sense of humor and ability to make others laugh along with her servants heart touched many lives.
Sandie is survived by her parents, Jeff and Orpha Millslagle; siblings, Steve Millslagle and Cindy (Jason) Parent; nieces Jaymin and Jaycee; maternal grandparents, Homer and Debbie Schrock; Paternal grandparents, Glenn and Joyce Millslagle; aunts and uncles, Linda (Jim) Beitzel, Darrel (Shelli) Schrock, Teresa (David) Brown, Gregory Millslagle and Pamela Vanover as well as many cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ruth Schrock.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Lima Community Church of the Nazarene 2945 N. Cole St. Lima, OH 45807 where family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:30 a.m.
