SANDRA KELLY IRVING
Sandra Kelly Irving, 61, of Oregon, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2013, at Mercy-St. Charles Hospital after a valiant battle with breast cancer. She was born April 14, 1952 in Monroe, MI to Edward and Audrey (Thomas) Kelly and for over 30 years worked as a patient care technician for Mercy-St. Charles Hospital. Sandra was a compassionate person who loved caring for people.
She is survived by the loves of her life, Thomas Irving; Chihuahua, Poncho; brother, Gary (Sue) Kelly; aunt, Geneva Crawford; sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Herman) Baerkircher and Shirley Irving; brother-in-law, Louis (Rita) Irving; nieces, Lynnette (Tim) Nelson and Becky (Eric) Varner; and great-nieces and nephews Grady, Emily, Mady and Brody. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; Thomas’ parents, Edward and Nomeda Irving and brother-in-law, Richard Irving.
Family and friends may visit from 2-8 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2013 in the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd., Oregon, where a scripture service will begin at 8:00 p.m. Monday evening. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday in the funeral home followed by burial in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
