Ruthann Tedrow, 66, passed away at Orchard Villa Nursing Home in Oregon, Ohio on Monday, April 9, 2012. Ruth was born in Gross Point Farm, Michigan to George and Muriel (Grimoldby) Hancock on March 24, 1946. She married Don Tedrow. Ruth worked in the healthcare field as a nurse aide. She was a member of the Eagles, V.F.W. 2909 Auxiliary, ARC and enjoyed playing bingo and working in her garden.
Ruth is survived by her children: Erin (Carl) Darling, Jeremy (Nadrah) Switzer, Georgina Switzer and Shannon Switzer; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Robin Hopkins and Francis Duhon; long-time companion, Ken Shelton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; son, Preston Switzer; grandson and siblings, George Hancock III, Doyle Hancock, Rebecca Ralph and Andrew Hancock.
There will be no services. Memorial contributions may be made to Odyssey Hospice. Arrangements are being handled by Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Rd., Oregon, Ohio.
