Roy L. Dunbar Sr., 72, passed January 11, 2013. He was born March 15, 1940 to, Hurley and Mirlee (Wiseman) Dunbar. He served in the United States Army. Roy was employed as a truck driver with several companies for 43 years until he retired from M & M Restaurant Supply. He was a very giving man who loved his family and knew how to play guitar and sang.
Roy is lovingly remembered by his children: Annetta, Roy L. Jr., Kenneth (Heidi), Rex (Elizabeth), Brian (Rosemary) and Gary (Racheal) Dunbar; girlfriend, JoAnn Cole; 23 grandchildren; 17great-grandchildren; 9 siblings and so many other beloved relatives and friends. He was preceded in death his wife, Jacqueline; parents and 2 siblings.
Friends and family may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 South Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Chapel on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Historic Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Charles Cancer Center or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
