Rosemary (Katie) Ann Cook

Rosemary "Katie" Cook, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.

Katie was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Phares S. Cook. The two shared 52 joyful years of marriage, building a life centered around family, faith, and simple pleasures. Katie found joy in crafts, crocheting, and knitting. She loved spending time with family and friends playing cards, and she especially looked forward to trips to the casino.

Katie was also a faithful member of the choir at St. Mary Catholic Church in Winona, MN, where she shared her love of music and her strong spiritual devotion.

She is survived by her loving children, Michael Cook (Diane Hedgecock) and Kathleen Wolford (Dennis Wolford); grandchildren Erin Cook, Jared Cook, Nicole Wolford (Tommy Diffley), and Heather Wolford (Devon Smith); and great-grandchildren Mia Cook and Remy Wolford. Her family was the heart of her world, and she poured her love into every moment spent with them.

Family and friends may visit at The Gardens of St. Francis, 930 S Wynn Rd, Oregon, OH 43616, on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Katie’s funeral mass will take place at 11:00 am. Katie will be laid to rest at a later date, back in her hometown.

Memorial contributions may be made in Katie’s name to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
