Rose Mary Leslie

Rose Mary Leslie (Halada) aged 85, passed away peacefully while watching game shows on October 27th, at her retirement home at Sunset House. She was born a second-generation Czech American on July 19, 1938, in Rossford, Ohio, to Casper M. Halada and Anna (Chinoronski) Halada. She grew up in Rossford, Ohio, and was a proud resident of Perrysburg, before moving to Walbridge, Ohio later in life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Kenneth Leslie; two sons Martin Robert Leslie and Michael Charles Leslie; brothers Casper A. Halada and Bill Halada; and sisters Midge Jasik, Jo Smith, Mary Balusik, and Ann Capeheart. She is survived by her son Ken (Norma) Leslie, grandson William (Anneliese) Leslie; great-grandchildren Lilly, Martin, and Ryan Leslie; sister Bernadine Gehr, and many nieces and nephews.
Both Rose Mary and the family are grateful to and give 5 stars to the incredible staff at Otterbein Sunset House, as well as the team with Ashanti Hospice, all who made the last stages of her life comfortable.
In honor of Rose Mary's wishes, she will be buried after a small graveside service, next to her husband and youngest son. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to Ashanti Hospice or a charity of choice.
